My journey in construction began when I completed my apprenticeship as a carpenter joiner. Fuelled by a passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail, I ventured into the business world and established a successful shopfitting company, catering to major public house chains across the UK. This experience allowed me to hone my skills in delivering high-quality work within demanding commercial environments.
Throughout my career, I have also served as a site manager on numerous high-rise building projects, providing me with extensive experience in managing complex construction processes and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
For the past 20 years, I have focused on building extensions and new homes, developing an in-depth understanding of domestic construction. This hands-on experience has given me valuable insights into the reality of costs, time scales, and the importance of finding innovative solutions to challenges that arise during construction.
